Current Youtube favourites

Hi guys! How are you all doing today? Ah, Youtube. An endless source of interest, education, laughs, and a main reason I sometimes stay up until 4am, and just loving a the 'weird side' of Youtube a little too much! Why even is Dr.Phil and Wife Swap on Youtube?! Now that I have unlimited internet (yay!) I have been on Youtube more than ever, because I don't have to worry about going over the data limit. Today, I thought I would share with you all just a few of my favourite Youtube channels. If you have any suggestions, do let me know!

Ask The Feels

Founded by Bart Kwan and Joe Jo, Ask The Feels is just part of their Just Kidding Films channel. Ask The Feels is hosted by Bart, Joe, Geo Antoinette, Tiffany Del Real and the odd special guest. I just love this channel so much. With 2-3 videos uploaded almost every two days, Ask The Feels offers really honest advice on all things love, sex and relationships, with a hilarious twist. Especially on YouTube, it's so rare to find people who and just 100% themselves and down to earth. You can't help but love them!

TMD Shanghai

It's so secret how much I love and am interested in other cultures. Since rejoining the world of Youtube, I have really gravitated towards Asian Youtubers! TMD Shanghai is like a Chinese Buzzfeed. TMD Shanghai focus on music videos, sketches, pranks and web series. It's also fun to see an Asian perspective on the Western world!

Toxic Tears

A model/Youtuber from Northern Ireland, Kaya Lili is a fantastic alternative/gothic Youtuber, Ireland needs more wonderful alternative (Ick, I hate that word) Youtubers! I adore her style and happy, friendly attitude. The Toxic Tears channel features subscription box unboxings (which are my favourite!), hauls, tutorials and general chats. I highly recommend checking out Toxic Tears channel, especially if you're alternative yourself!

Sarah Rae Vargas

Sarah Rae Vargas is without a doubt, one of my favourite Youtubers and I am so happy I stumbled across her channel this Summer! Sarah is an open book in every aspect. Her videos are so educational, interesting and honest! After I watch a few of her videos, I automatically feel better in myself. Sarah is all about body positivity and confidence, which I feel is so important to talk about. My favourite videos of Sarah's has to be her Let's Talk About Sex series! Again, it's so honest, there's full disclosure and wonderful advice!

Leanne Woodfull

Last but certainly not least, Leanne has been a favourite Youtuber of mine for years. I was sad when she made the announcement that she was giving up Youtube, but I understood. Trolls are not fun, guys. But now she's back on Youtube and killing it! She has inspired my own style in a way. Her videos are usually fashion and beauty related. I love her haul videos and she has started vlogging aswell. I'm so happy Leanne has decided to come back to Youtube!

And that is who I am loving on Youtube lately! Who are you loving on Youtube lately? Have you any suggestions for me? Let me know below!

Budget Brand Focus: NYX

Hey guys! How are you all doing on this wonderful Friday? This is the last past in my mini series focusing on budget make-up brands, and honestly, I have loved doing this series! I might do something similar in the future. Today, I'll be talking about NYX.

Fly With Me mascara- For months I had given up on mascara. Don't gasp and pass out, I did! I had good reason to. No matter what mascara I used, it always smudged under my eyes within an hour. After months without it, I decided to give mascara a second chance. In the spirit of this mini series, I decided to try out the NYX Fly With Me mascara. I was made up! Throughout the days I used it, working in a kitchen, exercising, going out, it did not smudge once! Not only does it not smudge, it doesn't flake or clump. The packaging is all black, gorgeous and sleek. The wand is a ball wand, which is great for definition. It feels lightweight on and I couldn't feel it on my lashes. Fly With Me makes my lashes super long and defined and black. It's really easy to take off with micellar water and a cotton pad. I am so beyond impressed with this mascara and it will be a repurchase! I give it 10/10 and it costs €10.99.

NYX lip liner- I've heard that these lip liners were good dupes for the MAC lip liners, I've never tried the MAC liners myself, so I can't say for sure! I picked up a lip liner in the shade Pinky, a deep fuschia. I thought it would be a good liner to go under my Catrice lipstick. The pencil is a lovely slim, sleek pencil. I thought this lip liner was really quite hard! I had to apply it pretty hard, I was expecting a softer, buttery pencil that I would have much preferred. As a result, it didn't give the cleanest finish. It felt drying underneath my lipstick. Though it does intensify my lip colour and and makes my lipstick last longer. I give it 6/10 and it costs €6.49.

NYX Wonder Pencil-
A great versatile and multipurpose product for anyone's make-up bag. The NYX Wonder Pencil has a great array of uses, like lining lips, highlighting the brow bone, cleaning up the brow area, hiding blemishes and I especially love using it to brighten my waterline and making me look more awake and my eyes appear bigger. It's a really nice soft pencil, which makes it easy to apply. I got it in the Light shade, which matches my skintone. I feel these pencils cater more towards pinkish undertones. I give the NYX Wonder Pencil 8/10 and it costs €5.49.

And that is the the final part of my Budget Brand Focus series! I really loved this series! I plan to do something similar in the future, so stay tuned. ;)

Instagram Inspiration!

Hi guys! How are you all doing? I don't know about you guys, but I am constantly getting inspired (and buying) thanks to Instagram! A few select followers and whatever the Explore tab throws up, I usually love. Then, I follow more fabulous accounts from that, and the cycle repeats itself. More style and fashion inspiration is so so good for the soul, not so great for the wallet. ;) Here's the latest followers that I am loving! Do check them out and follow me at kimagram! :)

Tunnel Vision is an alternative clothing store, especially grunge and psychedelic hippy clothing. It's run by just four women in LA, California. I really adore their healthy attitude towards positive body image, which is made so clear in the models they use, of all different heights, weight and race! A rare gem in clothing stores.

Another fabulous alternative clothing store based in the UK. Disturbia is actually really reasonably priced and their clothing range is just beautiful. Their clothes are right up my street, especially their tops!

Oh Killstar, I love you so much. Killstar is my favourite clothing brand, I still can't get over the beauty of their Horny skater dress I got a few months ago. I have my eye on a few other bits from Killstar, but for now, I'll happily drool over them on their Instagram!

I stumbled across Bloodmilk when Kat Von D rocked Bloodmilk rings and I fell in love with their Instagram feed! It's so beautiful. Featuring mythological, supernatural, macabre and afterlife themes and art, it gets my creative juices flowing. If I had the spare cash, I would love to have a Bloodmilk jewel in my collection!

Normally, a baby or family heavy feed wouldn't be something I would follow. But Heather Nicole's Instagram is just awesome! Her family is adorable and her style is beautiful. Hair and make-up goals, 100%!

If you think that a vegan or even vegetarian diet is boring, where have you been?! Crazyvegankitchen is plain proof of how delicious and mouthwatering a vegan diet can be! I can't wait to try out some of Amrita's recipes very soon!

Sebastian Columbine is just goals all around! Clothes, hair, make-up and personality goals. I first came across this stunning lady when I was 16 via her Youtube channel and she popped up on the Explore tab on Instagram. What I wouldn't give for a good raid through Sebastian's wardrobe. I just love her!

Are you addicted to Instagram too? Who's inspiring you right now on Instagram? Let me know below!

Budget Brand Focus- Catrice

Hey guys! Welcome to the third installment of my Budget Brand series. Today, I'll be focusing on Catrice! When Catrice first came to Ireland a few years ago, I honestly wasn't gone on their products. Though in the last few years, I am loving them! Catrice's Prime and Fine primer is a hidden gem. Here are a few bits from Catrice that I've tried and tested for all you lovely Spaghettis and Meatballs (How I Met Your Mother, anyone?)

Prime and Fine eyeshadow base- A great budget eyeshadow base for the price. It's doefoot applicator makes for even and easy application. It's a flesh toned base which gives the eyelids an even base. Its formula is wet and creamy, which is very easy to blend. On its own, it feels heavy, but after you do your eyeshadow, it feels weightless! I use this under any eyeshadow, and it adds light intensity to your eyeshadow. It makes my eyeshadow last throughout the day. I really love the packaging and the applicator. I recommend Prime and Fine eyeshadow base to anyone starting out using eyeshadow or just generally on a budget. Even if you're used to eyeshadow and not on a budget, I think this base would surprise you! It costs €2.99 and I give it 8/10.

Ultimate Stay lipstick- Ahh, I just had to pick up a lipstick, such is my penchant for a beautiful lipstick. In general, I think drugstore brands do fabulous lipsticks! Catrice is no exception. A gorgeous lipstick that won't break the bank. The Ultimate Stay lipsticks have a satin matte finish. I picked one up in the shade IrrCORALbly Pink, a bright fuchsia shade. Though creamy in consistency and comfortable on the lips, I find the formulation a tad too thin for my taste, and I wish it were slightly creamier. The packaging is lovely and sleek. It is such a pigmented lipstick you only need one coat, and lasts around three hours on the lips, if eating and drinking. The smell is so amazing! Like vanilla cake, very very similar to the smell of MAC lipsticks. Speaking of MAC, I think this shade is similar to MAC's Girl About Town shade. If I was to wear Girl About Town on a night out and wary of losing it, I would bring this one instead for any touch ups. It costs €5.49 and I give it 9/10.

Eyebrow Stylist- I thought the Catrice Eyebrow stylist would make the perfect eyebrow product, whether it be for an everyday look or going out. I picked this up in the shade closest to my hair colour, Brow-n eyed Peas. The Eyebrow stylist is a double ended eyebrow pencil, with the pencil on one side and a spoolie brush on the other end. I use the pencil to very lightly fill in my brows or to mark the lines where Anastasia DipBrow should stay in. The pencil is quite firm, which I like and I love the spoolie end, it's so handy when tidying up my brows. The Catrice Eyebrow Stylist costs €2.19 and I give it a 9/10.

And that wraps up the third part of my Budget Brand Focus series! I hope you guys are liking this series as much as I love writing it! Stay tuned next week for my final post of the series!

The Music Tag!

Hi guys! When in doubt, do a tag, eh? ;) I think I might have mentioned in previous posts, just how much I adore music! With well over 1'000 songs in my library, I am a major metal fan, but I do enjoy other genres, trance being another genre I love. I thought it would be interesting to do a music themed post and let you guys know more about the music I enjoy. I hope you like it and I tag all of you to do the Music Tag. Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade

Hey guys! Today, I'll be talking about a cult favourite in the beauty world. Loved by bloggers and beauty lovers the world over, I finally got my clutches on Dipbrow Pomade from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I heard so much about this lil pot of fab, and I knew I had to possess it! My eyebrow care before I bought this was the usual dark eyeshadow applied with an Eco Tools flat eyeliner brush, and I really felt like stepping up my brow game. It took me a while to find a place online to purchase DipBrow Pomade where the shipping prices weren't mental, then I came across it on Beauty Bay. I selected the shade Chocolate, which happens to match my dark brown hair perfectly!
DipBrow Pomade adheres very well to the hairs for clean, defined, precise and sculpted brows. I won't wear this to work or when I don't want to look too done up. Honestly, I don't want to waste it, I love it that much! I apply this with the Zoeva 322 brow line brush, which is supposed to be the best brush to use with Dipbrow, and I have to agree!

I have heard DipBrow Pomade being described as a 'gel mousse', but I find it to be more creamy in consistency. I feel that DipBrow Pomade has made my brows so on point! Or fleek, as the young ones are saying. Throughout the days I have worn it, it didn't budge, smudge or move once from my eyebrows. It is heat, steam, sweat and waterproof. It's perfect from keeping for your brows on point in all conditions! A little really goes a long way with DipBrow Pomade, and it's so pigmented, it's best to apply it with a very light hand. There is such a great variety in shades, 11 in total, to suit all natural hair colours.

The packaging is beyond beautiful too, a glass pot with a black screw on cap with gold lettering on it. I've read it can dry out if it's not screwed on properly, so keep it in mind if you decide to invest!
On Beauty Bay, Anastasia Beverly Hills cost me €18 with €2.70 shipping, though shipping is free with purchases over €21. I give it 10/10 and I would absolutely repurchase DipBrow Pomade!

Have you tried the Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade yet? What were your thoughts? What is your favourite cult beauty product? Let me know below!

L'Oreal Paris Glam Shine Reflexion lipgloss

Hi guys! How are you all doing? :D Today, I'll be talking about the Glam Shine Reflexion lipgloss from L'Oreal Paris. This lipgloss is usually €10.79, but I got it for free with any L'Oreal Paris product when I picked up the Nude Magique BB powder. I decided on the shade Sheer Pitaya, a dark fuschia shade.

I really like this lipgloss! There is glitter in this lipgloss, hence the 'mirror shine' effect this lipgloss is going for, and the results are quite dazzling. The Glam Shine Reflexion lipgloss has a very glossy and glittery finish, I don't have many lip products with this kind of finish, so it's something different for me. Though I have to say, as with many lipglosses, it has a sticky feeling, but it's nowhere near as bad as other lipglosses out there. I find applying a good lip balm underneath a while before applying this lipgloss minimizes the stickiness and works a treat.

It adds slight volume to the lips, which is a nice bonus. I really love the heart shaped wand, it makes for a lovely, comfortable and even application. On average, it lasts around two hours, and leaves a subtle tint. I think that this lipgloss would be especially suitable on a night out! The smell is so lovely and sweet. The L'Oreal Paris Glam Shine Reflexion lipgloss costs €10.79 usually, and stickiness aside, I give it an 8/10!

Have you ever tried the Glam Shine Reflexion lipgloss? What were your thoughts? Let me know below!

Budget Brand Focus- Essence

Hey guys! Welcome to part two of my Budget Brand Focus series. Today, I'll be focusing on Essence! Ah, the nostalgia. Essence was probably one of the first make-up brands I started with when I first 'really' got into make-up, like so many other girls. As you get older and find other make-up brands, you tend to forget about the ones you started with, as I did. I have to say, Essence has been impressing me so much lately! I had to include it in this series.

Make Me Brow
I've been on the lookout for a brow gel, something fuss free, something to use when I don't want my brows to look too full on, aka, work. Not that I've tried Gimme Brow from Benefit, I feel that it's the same concept and a cheaper alternative. I am loving this little beauty! It's so easy to use and fuss free. I love the brush. It's small enough to grip all of the hairs. The gel doesn't dry or flake. It makes my brows look well groomed and adds definition. It doesn't move once throughout the day and matches my hair colour! It costs a fantastic €3.09 and I give it 10/10.

Make Me Brow used by itself

Longlasting Nude Lipstick
A shade I have seen everywhere and I've been dying to come across lately, I found it in the Essence stall! I picked up one of Essence's Longlasting Nude Lipsticks in Come Naturally. It is a purple-mauve nude with a lovely cool grey undertone. With my dark hair, I feel this shade suits me perfectly. Come Naturally has a matte finish, but it won't dry out your lips or show off every little crack. Though the staying power isn't fantastic, lasting an hour or two, the pigmentation is great, and completely opaque with two coats. It's comfortable to wear on the lips, and I really love the packaging and the embossed 'e' on the lipstick. I can't wait to buy more from the Longlasting Nude range! At €2.49, it's a steal. I give it 9/10.

All About Roses
When I find an eyeshadow palette for so cheap, I take it with a pinch of salt and know it's not going to be the best palette out there. The All About Roses is an exception and it has really surprised me! I love the shades included so much, they are quite Autumnal and I love the overall shift in shades in make-up for the colder months in the Essence brand. There are four shimmers at the top, and four mattes at the bottom. The pigmentation is just so fantastic and the eyeshadow stays put all day! There is a slight crumble with these shadows, but the texture is so lovely. Not chalky in the slightest, but soft and buttery. I love to use the matte shades on my lids and the shimmers as a crease colour and on my waterline, and the first white shade as an inner eye highlighter. The packaging is really nice and simple. They work well as an eyeliner, and I'm so happy with how easy they blend together! All around it's a fantastic little palette and the quality is great! It costs €4.99 and I give All About Roses 10/10.

I honestly can't wait to get more from the Essence range, I have rekindled a new love for them! Scoring either a 9 or 10, and buying all three for a little over €10, I can't recommend them enough. The quality has been improved, and is still so budget friendly and guilt free. Stay tuned next week for part three of my Budget Brand Focus series. I am honestly really loving doing this series! :)
