Website Help!

Hey guys! How are you all doing? Unfortunately, one of my flaws is that sometimes, I tend to run away from my problems. If I don't think about it, talk about it, have it in front of me, it doesn't exist. Out of my birthday money, I shelled out almost €80 on a domain name for my own blog, that was at the start of March! I wish I had looked up exactly how to build up a website before paying for it. I bought my domain name from Register365, their customer care hasn't been fantastic and I am terrible with technology.
The point of this post is that I need your help. Can anyone help me get my blog on my website, or put me into contact with someone who is familiar with setting up a website? Do I need to shell out even more for a website builder, or is a graphic designer my next step? (I really hope this is the case!) Because none of it makes sense to me! Has anyone who has registered through Register365 be able to give me a few pointers as to what to do next?
I have just discovered the 100+1 Click Installs and I've managed to install a calender, I want to install something that will put this blog on to the site, as I'm not with Wordpress, my choices are: Open Blog, Serendipity, Dot Clear, b2evolution, TextPattern, LifeType, Pixie, Nucleus, eggBlog and PivotX, which is the best to install when it comes to using the Blogger platform?
Right now, there's nothing on, but a placeholder, and when I log in (I can't even manage to do that anymore, to show you guys a screen cap of what I see) but when I log in, all that's there is some index files, and I am so confused.
So basically, the main thing I need to know right now is, what is my next step from here? If you are good at site building or you have set up your own, or know someone who could help me, I would greatly, greatly appreciate it! Please let me know below any advice you may have.

It's The Little Things

Hey everyone! How are you all? Happy Thursday, we're almost there! :) This post is inspired by the lovely Jemma over at Dorkface, go check her out if you haven't already! In life, it's not always the grand gestures and the big buys that give us satisfaction and make us happy, it's the little things we overlook from time to time, but really mean alot! Here's my little list of the little things I love. :)

A cuddle
Who doesn't love a good cuddle? Noone that I know of, anyway. It's comfy cosy, and a really, really great feeling especially when it's with someone you really love. Not so great when you're in a serious cuddle mood and there's noone around!

Instagram inspiration
First of all, sorry if you follow me on Instagram and I'm not updating, Instagram won't let me upload photos without crashing! I'm still very active on Instagram and I love browsing through it, it's so inspiration for recipes, outfits and make-up, so many beautiful posts and ideas!

Fresh sheets and shaved legs
There's no denying this feeling is absolute bliss! So comfortable and lovely to sleep in, when I have both, I seriously can't wait to hit the hay! Am I right?

New skincare products
My main vice along with whiskey! It excites me so much buying, trialing, using, writing about and see the benefits from new skincare products! The packaging, the feeling, using it. I find my skincare routine quite therapeutic, and I love to invest in fantastic skincare.

New pyjamas
Noticing a trend here? I am, without a doubt, a creature of comfort! And buying and wearing new comfy and pretty pyjamas is one of the best feelings, ever. Feels so fresh and cosy, and I usually buy a new pyjamas when I make the trip up to Penneys!

A read and a tea at my favourite haunt
In Tullamore, there's not much to do, and the odd time when I have an hour or two to kill, I make my way up to my favourite haunt, The Coffee Club for a peppermint tea, and I always have a book in my bag, and it's the absolutely perfect way to chillout and relax. The atmosphere here is divine, quiet, funky Latin music, lovely staff, and you can stay as long as you want. I'm on my 7th loyalty card, I love it that much.

A lie in
During the week, it's all go go go, up early, work, come home, exercise, do other what you have to do, sleep, and do it all over again, for four more days. But a glorious Saturday and Sunday, a guilt free lie in, have a slow paced weekend and actually take the time to have breakfast, is something to look forward to definitely!

A free house
I really am a fan of my alone time, it's so important for me to be alone to, well, function correctly. And a free house gives me the chance to be by myself, blast Slipknot and sing at the top of my lungs and strut around half naked, as is tradition.

Random good moods
I really love it when a sudden and unexplained good mood comes over me. Who doesn't love feeling happy and perky? Singing and dancing around and being very productive comes from my random good moods so I'm excited when a good mood without reason comes over me!

Post brow treatment and haircut feeling
Every girl loves to feel good about herself and her appearance, it's a fact of life. Nothing brings this feeling on faster than getting the brows or the weave did. I'm not a huge fan of going to either because I can't stand the small chat, but the people who do both my hair and brows are lovely, and always make me feel good about myself coming out!

Finding new music
I love music so so, so much! Whenever I find a new band to listen to and I end up loving, I get super pumped about it and listen to everything I can find by them. Especially if you're getting a bit bored of what you have been listening to lately, it's always good to mix it up and expand your music taste!

An extra affectionate Ruby
I love my little Ruby so much, she s the cutest dog in the whole world and yes, that also includes your dog, soz. Sometimes when I'm watching tv or writing, Ruby will come up to me, sit on my lap and cuddle into me. Even more surprising if there's no ulterior motive for the cosy blanket or food. and I'll drop whatever I'm doing to have a cuddle with my favourite!

Surprise sweet texts
We all have our own things going on, between college, work and other responsibilities, it's not so easy to stay in contact with friends every single day. But sometimes, off my boyfriend and best friends, they text me out of the blue with the sweetest, most thoughtful texts that give me that warm fuzzy feeling and a smile that lasts ages, and I feel so loved. It's so important to return the favour at let your loved ones know how much they mean to you. :)

And they are just a few of my favourite thiiiiiiings! What are the little things that make your day? Let Me know below!

Make-Up Revolution Velvet Matte Lip Lacquer

Hey guys! How are you all doing? Happy Monday -ugh-. I apologise for only putting up one post last week, I just got a new job, and I'm trying to balance both, which won't be too hard as I'm home around 3pm, but I'm back on track now, and I'll have some exciting new products to trial soon! Following the mahooosive buzz around Make-up Revolution, and for the prices, I knew I had to try some of their products for myself! Especially I wanted to try their Velvet Matte Lip Lacquers, touted as the perfect dupe for the Lime Crime Velvetines. I wanted to mess around with lilac lips, as I love them, so I bought one in the shade Depravity.

I have to say, delivery for this and the Iconic 3 eyeshadow palette, was quite slow! It was supposed to be here on a Friday- and didn't arrive until the following Thursday. The packaging is quite typical, a plastic tube with a doefoot applicator. I'm not crazy about the texture of this lip lacquer, at first application, it has a lovely, soft, and velvety texture, but a few minutes later, the texture feels sticky, before finally deciding on a matte finish. I love how pigmented this lip lacquer is! I apply two cost, as my lips are naturally very red.

My biggest problem with this lip lacquer is something that puts me off buying these lip lacquers again in the matte finish, it doesn't last long, at all! It fades in uneven patches, which is a pain in the ass because red and lilac, a very noticeable difference, and it looks a bit stupid. I do adore the shade alot. and I will buy Make-Up Revolution lip lacquers again, I just think I'll go for their lipsticks or their Intense lip lacquers range. Depravity is my favourite shade in the red, it's something fun interesting and different! The next shade I really want to get is Vamp, a gorgeous blood red/brown, again in the Intense lip lacquer range.

The Velver Matte Lip Lacquers costs €4.23, and I think it's a good price! I give the Make-Up Revolution Velvet Matte Lip Lacquers a 6/10. If anyone has any tips for me to make the lacquers last longer, let me know!
Have you tried the Make-Up Revolution Velvet Matte Lip Lacquers? What did you think of them? Let me know below!

John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine Illuminating conditioner

Hey everyone! I hope you're all having a good Tuesday, and, a happy Paddy's day to my fellow Irish bloggers! Get good and twisted. ;) Today, I'll be reviewing the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine Illuminating conditioner. What a mouthful, eh? I love the John Frieda range, and I love using their products. I wanted to keep my hair shiny, and a good conditioner makes my thick hair alot more co-operative and manageable.

This conditioner, especially for brunettes, promises to infuse dull hair with moisture, revitalise shine, improve the texture of hair, leaving a ''crystal clear, brunette shine''. This conditioner made my hair soft, shiny, more manageable and alot more hydrated. It improved the look of the ends of my hair and it made my hair feel so sleek, healthy and nourished! I usually leave this in for 3 to 5 minutes, or longer if I can. The texture is quite thick, so it feels so nice and rich, but I rub the conditioner between the palms of my hands so it soaks into all of my hair better.

I felt I got quite a while out of the Brilliant Brunette conditioner, that lasted me around a month and a half. Though it made my hair shine, I found the John Frieda Flawlessly Straight conditioner made my hair even more shiny and healthy than the Brilliant Brunette one did. So, if I had to choose, I would buy the Flawlessly Straight one faster!
The John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine Illuminating conditioner costs €7.77 for 250ml, which is a good price, in any Boots (and you can usually get it for cheaper or on offer with something else in the John Frieda range) and I give it an 8/10.

Have you tried the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette conditioner yet? Are you a fan of the John Frieda range too? Let me know below!

The Naked Palette!

Hey guys! I know, I know, how late am I to the Naked Party? The first Naked Palette has been on my wishlist for way too long! I put off buying one, not only because of the price, but also on my sub par eyeshadow skills, if it was a worthwhile purchase, buuut, it was my birthday last week, and the bae (Hiiii James!) bought me one! Instant brownie points fo sho. My first impression, I was excited and it was love at first swatch. It was not like any other make-up I had (So much so I can't bare to put it out of sight with the rest of my make-up!) It also came with four primer pods, Original, Anti-Ageing, Eden and Sin. I love Sin Primer Potion so much I'm going to buy the full tube!
Usually the brushes that come with palettes are rubbish and end up in the bin, but I love the brush included so much so, it's replaced my usual shadow brush, very decent quality and packs on the pigment!

The thing I love the most about the Naked Palette shadows is the amaaaazing pigmentation! The shadows texture is so buttery, velvety and luxurious.

The shades-
Virgin- Cool beige shimmer
Sin- Champagne shimmer
Naked- Nude matte
Sidecar- Beige shimmer
Buck- Fawn brown matte
Half Baked- Gold bronze shimmer
Smog- Coppery bronze shimmer
Darkhorse- Mocha shimmer
Toasted- Copper penny shimmer
Hustle- Plum brown satin
Creep- Oynx shimmer with sparkle
Gunmetal- Metallic grey shimmer with sparkle

These shadows blend like a dream! Because these shadows are so beautifully pigmented, you only need one coat of shadow, but it's easily built up if you want to. There is a small bit of fallout with them, but only a small bit, and once they're applied, they don't budge or wear off for the entire day! The shades in this palette are so versatile and you can create so many different looks, from a casual look to a dark dramatic look. So, this palette would suit anyone, really. The shadows have some gorgeous finshes, from matte to shimmer, to sparkle. I always thought that I just don't suit eyeshadow at all, but I think it was just a matter of finding the right eyeshadow, and it's stepped up my eyeshadow game, and I've improved my skills with eyeshadow playing around with the palette!
A big bonus is that both the palette and brush are cruelty free! I 100% get the hype around the Naked Palettes and I'm an official convert! I give the Naked Palette a well, well earned 10/10! On the Debenhams website, you can buy it for €46. :)

Do you love the Naked Palette as much as I do? Which one/s do you have? Let me know below!

NYX HD Photogenic Concealer

Hi guys! How are you all doing? Today, I'll be reviewing the NYX HD photogenic concealer. I heard fantastic things about this concealer and I thought I would give it a whirl as I've yet to find my Holy Grail concealer. I bought this concealer in the shade 'Glow' (CWO6), and it seemed to be the lightest shade they had. This concealer comes in simple plastic packaging with a doefoot applicator.

Deceiving shop lighting be damned! I was so made up with how well this swatched in the shop, and applied it after I bought it, when I got out into the natural light, my mam noticed straight away how orange and too dark under my eyes! I was raging. I can't wear this on its own at all. It's way too dark and orange toned for my milk bottle complexion. Though it does look good under my L'Oreal True Match foundation. It's effective at covering spots and I would consider this concealer to be medium to full coverage.

Under concealer, it lasts almost the full day, without any need for touch ups (Not that I can anyway without Tangy Cheese Dorito coloured under eyes). It's also talc free, so it isn't cakey at all! It has a nice creamy consistency, but it doesn't blend all that well and dries quickly, so you have to work quickly with it. A little really goes a long way with this concealer. Because of the colour, I'm not too sure if I would repurchase. If I found the concealer in a shade that went with my skin tone, I would buy it again. I love that this concealer is cruelty free!

It cost me €6.49 for 4ml, a fair price! I give NYX HD photogenic concealer a 6/10.

NYX Butter Glosses

Hey guys, happy Friday! I hope you're all doing well. Today, I'm reviewing the coveted NYX butter glosses! NYX have finally come to Tullamore! You guys have no idea how much I have been itching for NYX to come here! I have a list of things to try from NYX. First on the list was their butter glosses. These butter glosses have been raved about and loved all over the blogging community, I couldn't find one bad review, and I knew I had to try them!

I picked up two butter glosses in the shades Peaches and Cream, a soft sheer pink shade, and Cherry Cheesecake, a orange coral shade. I got Peaches and Cream because I love the soft pink, and it makes a great everyday shade, and I love Cherry Cheesecake because I love to rock a coral lip during the Summer, but I wanted to keep my lips hydrated. The packaging is plastic and fairly simple, with a doe foot applicator. I love the texture of the NYX butter glosses so much! They are non sticky, feel light on the lips, it feels buttery and melty. They are quite hydrating and leaves a gorgeous, glossy finish! NYX do not test on animals, which is a huge factor for me.

They also smell lovely, as if each gloss smells like what they're named after. Now I have to say, the staying power isn't the best, but it's so easy to reapply. To bring up more colour and keep the colour lasting longer, I apply foundation and setting powder underneath before applying a gloss. Both of the NYX butter glosses are both super wearable and make fantastic, everyday glosses.
I really love these lip butters alot, and I would 100% buy more of them! Taking into account the staying power, I give the NYX butter glosses an 8/10. They cost €6.49.
Have you tried the NYX lip butters? What did you think? Have you anything you want to try from the NYX range? Let me know below!

The Book Wishlist!

Hey guys! I hope you are all doing fabulously! As a child, I never had a book out of my hand, but as I got older, school and life got in the way. Nonetheless, I still adored reading so much, and I've read alot more now that I'm out of school and college. I've been making a concious effort to read even more and make my book choices more varied, and I like to think I'm doing well. I recently finished Dracula by Bram Stoker, which I loved! Today, I picked up Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and De Profundis, The Ballad of Reading Gaol & Other Writings by Oscar Wilde. I can't wait to get stuck in! I thought I would do a book wishlist for you guys, they are books I hope to pick up soon. :)

Tim Burton - Antoine De Baecque
Written by film critic Antoine De Baecque, this monograph explores the work and mind of none other that creative genius, Tim Burton. As you may know, I am obsessed with everything Tim Burton, I just revere him. From his poetry to his movies, everything he does is done with such love, uniqueness, eccentricity, hard work and passion. Antoine De Baecque shows us the keys to Burton's unique vision, film by film, includes interviews with Tim, and takes us behind the scenes to Tim's earliest movies, to his most recent hits. With a complete filmography, it also includes film stills, set photographs and his own drawings. A complete must have for any Tim Burton fangirl, if you have €30 to spare! It's been on my wishlist for too long!

Manson: In His Own Words - Charles Manson
In the sanest way possible, I've had an interest in serial killers since I was ten or eleven, I am fascinated by them, why they do what they did, what makes them tick, how they did it, profiling and their personality. One case that is my favourite is Charles Manson and his ''family''. Though Manson himself never killed anyone, his charismatic and a close tight knit group of outsiders living in Spahn Ranch, Manson had his inner circle do his bidding. Most notoriously, the murder of Sharon Tate and the LaBiancas. Because this book is in Manson's own words, we get the best understanding we can hope for of his psyche, and a look into his twisted mind.

Portrait of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde
Written by one of the greats, Oscar Wilde, Portrait of Dorian Gray is one of Oscar Wilde's best known works. When first published, it was considered immoral and scandalous. This classic is about a young man named Dorian Gray, who is the subject of Basil Hallward's painting, who thinks Dorian is a pure beauty. Dorian soon embraces hedonism with Basil and a new group of friends and believes the only things worth chasing are beauty, aesthetic fulfilment and pleasures of the flesh. I think this will be the book I'll read after Frankenstein and De Profundis.

Lord of The Flies - William Golding
I've wanted to read Lord of The Flies for quite some time now, another great classic. After a plane crash, a group of British boys find themselves marooned on an uninhabited island and they attempt to govern themselves. The boys divide into two groups, one led by Ralph, the other led by Jack. Lord of The Flies portrays the boys descent into savagery, away from modern society, a group of well educated British boys regress into a primitive state.

The Bell Jar - Sylvia Plath
The first and only novel written by Sylvia Plath. Initially published under the pseudonym Victoria Lucas, Plath committed suicide a month after it's publication in the UK.  The Bell Jar follows Esther Greenwood, who becomes mentally unstable after interning for a magazine in New York City. The Bell Jar parallels Sylvia Plath's own battle with clinical depression, with many similarities shared between the character Esther and Plath, and secondary characters based off real people. I really think I would love The Bell Jar, and it sounds like an interesting read. Besides, I love Plath's poetry.

And they are the books that are on my wishlist! Do you read much? What books are currently on your wishlist? Let me know below!
